Video production prices
How much does a 3D animation, animation, or recorded video cost?
The price of 3D animation
The costs of executing a 3D animation can vary greatly depending on several factors. The scope of the project, complexity, and the level of detail desired for the final result significantly impact the costs. In general, the execution of 3D animation may be more expensive than more traditional animation styles, such as 2D animation, because it requires specialized expertise, high-quality tools, and more work hours.
Even many communication professionals in companies have a slightly distorted perception of the pricing of 3D animation production. Only about ten years ago, only the largest companies or the highest budget campaigns could afford high-quality 3D animation.
An expert partner can help find the balance between quality and budget while providing cost-effective solutions for various projects.
Thanks to the efficiency of current hardware, new rendering techniques, and advanced software, our 3D animators are able to create large ensembles at a competitive price without compromising on quality.

Price of animation
Generally speaking, the production of an animation video is a more cost-effective option compared to traditional filmed video production or 3D animation.
The length and complexity of the animation directly affect its price. Long or detailed animations require more working hours. The more precise and complex the animation desired, the more time and resources will be needed to implement it. A simpler and more streamlined approach is usually cheaper, but it can still be just as effective as a more complex style.
Animating characters is always more challenging than moving simpler objects. Simple characters are easy to implement, but animating more complex and detailed characters requires significantly more work. For animating more detailed characters, a so-called "skeleton" or rig is needed, which allows the character's movements. This rigging process itself requires a considerable amount of additional work hours. For each facial feature, limb, finger, and joint, animatability must be defined in the rig. Additionally, all these details still need to be animated.
A professional partner in animation execution helps define what can be done with each budget – and what is ultimately the most sensible approach from the message's perspective. Often, the most effective method is not the most expensive one.

The price of video production
The price of video production is determined by several factors. The scope of the project is a key aspect, as larger productions require more resources and time. Schedules can also increase costs, especially under tight deadlines that require additional workforce or overtime.
The quality and technology of the equipment significantly affect the price; high-quality equipment costs more. The size of the filming crew also significantly impacts the price. So-called "man and camera" productions are naturally considerably cheaper than higher-quality productions that require a large crew. Additionally, factors related to the filming location and the selection of filming spots, especially special locations or trips abroad, can increase prices.
Ultimately, the desired quality of post-production is also a significant part of the total production cost: light editing is done quickly, but impressive productions with demanding edits, grading, and effects require significantly more work.
